• “Personal Data” – Any information that could identify an individual (which we do not collect).
• “Controller” – RankMySize determines the purposes and means of processing your Anonymous Data.

2. Categories of Data Collected

• Anonymous Inputs: Height, weight, age, country.
• Usage Data: Minimal session cookies and server logs for diagnostics.
• Affiliate & Ad Identifiers: Non-personal identifiers set by Google, Meta, ClickBank, Digistore24 for ad delivery and performance tracking.

3. Purpose & Legal Basis for Processing

• Service Provision: To calculate percentiles and generate comparisons (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f): legitimate interest).
• Analytics & Improvement: Aggregate statistics to enhance features and performance.
• Advertising & Affiliate: To display contextual ads and track affiliate link performance under contractual necessity.

4. Data Retention

We retain aggregated anonymous submissions for up to 24 months, then permanently delete or irreversibly anonymize them. Session cookies expire on browser close.

5. Data Sharing & Transfers

We do not sell or rent personal data. We may share anonymized, aggregated statistics with service providers. Any third-party processors (Google, Meta, ClickBank, Digistore24) must comply with GDPR and CCPA requirements via binding agreements. Data transfers outside the EEA rely on standard contractual clauses.

6. Your Rights

GDPR (EU Residents)

• Access & Portability: You may request a copy of your data—but as we collect none, these rights are inapplicable in practice.
• Correction & Erasure: You may request deletion—though no personal data exists on our systems.
• Objection: You may object to processing; we’ll cease if any personal data were processed.
• Complaints: You can lodge with your local Data Protection Authority.

CCPA (California Residents)

• Right to Know: What categories of personal data are collected—in our case: none.
• Right to Delete: Request deletion of personal data—but none is stored.
• Right to Opt-Out of Sale: We do not “sell” personal data.

7. Cookies & Tracking

We use only essential session cookies for site functionality. Third-party cookies (Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Pixel) may be set via our ad partners. You can opt out via your browser settings or:

8. Third-Party Services & Advertising

To fund our free service, we use:

• Affiliate Platforms: ClickBank, Digistore24 commissions on referred sales. They do not receive any personal data from us.

We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you’re under 18, please do not use our service.
